Core-Process Psychotherapy in Brighton & Hove
For some of life’s challenges two minds working together are often better than one. Meeting the right mind to help build your therapeutic relationship is an important first step. So a free initial consultation is offered in a safe, confidential, supportive environment in which you can be yourself, be received non-judgementally, reflect on aspects of your life you don’t normally share and discuss your personal hopes and aspirations.
Core-process psychotherapy draws from a range of depth psychologies, neuroscience and the contemplative traditions to provide a framework for exploring the mind at many levels. Together we will explore the interplay between our rational thoughts, deeper emotions, unconscious motivations, embodied feelings and subtle perceptions noticing how various events and circumstances influence our state of mind.
A short introduction to Core Process Psychotherapy is presented in the YouTube video link below:
Enhanced awareness strengthens our ability to witness ourselves in context so that we become more mindful of our circumstances, responses and options.
Core-Process Psychotherapy sits within the Humanistic & Integrative College of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
